Jacqueline is a linguist and biologist, with a passion for communications and science. She has managed branding and communications projects for European and global clients in a wide range of industries and types of organisation. She brings a broad business perspective and a wealth of cultural and linguistic expertise to the Indaba Network.
Formerly a teacher, and translator, Jacqueline was a director of educational programmes at the European Scout Office, then at the World Scout Bureau, from 1992-2002, managing educational research, publications, training and international events. From 2003-04, she developed innovative linguistic services, including scientific and technical writing, terminology management and lexical analysis for a Swiss translation agency. As project manager for ISO from 2005-06, she provided training and technical assistance on quality, food safety and environmental management systems in developing countries. Since 2006, Jacqueline has specialised in branding for science and technology, advising major pharmaceutical, biotech and technology companies on how to manage their corporate and product brands.
Jacqueline holds a BA (Hons) in Interpreting and Translating (Heriot-Watt University), a BSc (Hons) in Life Sciences (The Open University) and Masters’ degrees in Language Technologies, Software Localization, and Business Administration (MBA).

Generalist, strategist, trainer, thinker and doer – Milutin has over 30 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector. During this time, he has trained generations of young people, developed excellent administrative and organizational skills and demonstrated his aptitude for managing people, projects and schedules.
He works well in high-pressure situations and is able to multitask while meeting deadlines. He is energetic and self-motivated, successfully engaging at all levels within an organization and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills. His interests are wide and varied, enhancing his ability to work across different cultures.
Milutin holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management, from the Faculty for Business Industrial Management in Belgrade. Since 2013, he has been undertaking PhD studies at the Faculty for Strategic and Operational Management in Belgrade.

Patrick is a young social psychologist with a Master’s degree in human resource management.
From his extensive experience in youth organizations, he has acquired strong capacities in designing and implementing educational programs for adult leaders and youth. From his work experience, he has developed a good expertise in workflow analysis, team co-ordination, and customer satisfaction surveys. He has a significant experience in developing web-based documentation systems.
He is developing his own enterprise, a local second-hand bicycle restoration scheme to promote cycling as a sustainable transport for the metropolitan area of Malaga, Spain, and has a strong interest and expertise in social entrepreneurship for young people.

Patrick is Spanish and lives in Malaga, Spain.
After a first series of university studies in law at the University of Toulouse, Richard began a career in communications as a reporter for a small local radio station in Castres.
Then he became parliamentary assistant to a member of the French National Assembly in charge of relations with state services, local elected officials and the media.
After these first experiences, he passed into the sector of volunteer organizations where he was successively in charge of Communications and External Relations at the headquarters of Scouts de France, Director of External Relations at the European Scout Office and finally Director of External Relations and Communications at the World Scout Bureau .
These experiences allowed him to greatly expand his working experience with the international youth platforms, the international institutions (European Union, Council of Europe, UNESCO, World Bank) and the organization of various international events (Jamborees and World Conferences).
He gained expertise in the field of communication by developing for the World Organization of the Scout Movement a world communication strategy and brand strategy.
He was then recruited by the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) in Paris, as a Senior Strategic Advisor to the Directorate of Communications and External Relations, and then as Senior Strategic Advisor, Change Management to the Executive Branch.
Meanwhile, Richard continued his university education by obtaining a Master’s degree in “Administration and Communication Management” and started preparing a PhD in Communication Sciences and Information at the University Paul Sabatier Toulouse.
Richard is an organizational development consultant in Strategy, Branding and Communications. He puts his extensive expertise at the service of youth organizations, international youth platforms, NGOs, corporate organizations and inter-governmental institutions.

Roland began his professional career as a teacher in primary education.
He was then seconded to the Association of Eclaireurs et Eclaireuses de France – the French non-denominational Scout Association – first as Regional Executive for Alsace-Lorraine (1969-1979), then as Secretary General (1979-1990), and finally as Chief Executive (1990-1998).
From 1998 to 2007, he served as Director of Programs (1998-2003) and then as Director of Human resources (2003 to 2007) at the Association Française des Volontaires du Progrès, de main French organization sending volunteers in developing countries.
Since 2007, he has been a consultant specialized in organizational development with associations, enterprises and social organizations: amending the statutes, developing associative projects, human resources development, strategy and action plans, fundraising, management and accounting , Development of networks of partners.
During his career, Roland has acquired considerable expertise in the fields of education, adult education, development cooperation, sustainable development, integration through economic activity.
Roland is a French national and lives in Saint-Dié des Vosges, France.
